This Privacy Policy explains how UMOVA SOFTWARE LLC collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it.
Last updated 30 August 2026
Who we are
UMOVA SOFTWARE LLC is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. We are a company registered in Ukraine and based in Cherkasy, Ukraine, 18000.
For privacy questions or requests concerning your personal data, contact us at admin@umova.tech.
What personal data we collect
Depending on how you use this website, we may process the following personal data.
Information you provide
If you contact us through the website, we receive the information you submit, which may include:
- your name;
- email address;
- phone number; and
- the contents of your message.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
The website does not provide user accounts or logins. We do not buy personal data about website visitors and we do not use the website for advertising or remarketing.
Technical and server data
When you visit the website, our hosting provider, DreamHost, may automatically process technical information required to deliver and protect the website. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, and the date and time of requests.
This information may be recorded in server logs and used for website operation, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Analytics data
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website.
Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate geographic location, referral information, and general device and browser information.
For visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics uses IP addresses to derive approximate geographic information and states that individual IP addresses are discarded before they are logged or stored.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing and do not intentionally send your contact-form information to Google Analytics.
Why we use your personal data
We process personal data only where we have a legal basis to do so.
Enquiries
We use information you submit to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- communicate with you about our services;
- discuss a possible project or business relationship; and
- take steps requested by you before entering into a contract.
Where applicable, this processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Where that basis does not apply, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, communicating with potential clients and operating our business.
Website operation and security
We process limited technical and server-log information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and troubleshooting the website and preventing misuse.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics only after you have given consent through our cookie notice.
Where GDPR or equivalent consent requirements apply, the legal basis for this processing is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie preference.
A browser-storage entry named umova-cookie-choice records whether you accepted or declined analytics. It is used so that we can remember your choice and avoid showing the cookie notice on every visit. It is not used to identify you or track you across websites.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 is loaded and may set cookies including _ga and _ga_*. These cookies help distinguish browsers and measure website usage. Depending on Google's configuration and applicable settings, some Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years.
We use the resulting statistics to understand how the website is used and which content is useful. Advertising and remarketing features are not used.
If you decline analytics, we do not intentionally load Google Analytics and no Google Analytics cookies are intentionally set by this website.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie choice link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent prevents further Analytics collection from this website. We will also remove Analytics cookies set by this website where technically possible. You can additionally delete cookies through your browser settings.
Who processes your data
We use a limited number of service providers to operate the website and communicate with you.
DreamHost
DreamHost provides our website hosting infrastructure.
DreamHost may process technical information such as IP addresses and server logs when delivering the website. Contact-form submissions are processed by the website and sent to our email account; we do not use a separate third-party contact-form service.
Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace for the admin@umova.tech mailbox. If you contact us, your message and subsequent correspondence may therefore be processed and stored using Google Workspace.
Google Analytics
If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics processes website-usage information on our behalf to provide website measurement and analytics services.
Google may also process certain information as an independent controller where its applicable terms, settings or law provide for this. We configure our use of Analytics to avoid advertising and remarketing purposes.
International transfers
UMOVA SOFTWARE LLC is established in Ukraine, while some of our service providers and their infrastructure are located in other countries.
In particular, DreamHost provides hosting infrastructure that may involve processing in the United States, and Google may process data using infrastructure located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area.
Where personal data protected by the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar laws is transferred internationally, we and our providers use applicable legal transfer mechanisms where required. These may include adequacy decisions, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, applicable UK transfer mechanisms, and participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the relevant recipient and transfer are covered by it.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Enquiries that do not result in an ongoing client or business relationship are generally retained for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, unless we need to keep them longer for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
If an enquiry results in a contract or ongoing business relationship, relevant correspondence may be retained for the duration of that relationship and afterwards for the period required or permitted by applicable legal, accounting and tax requirements.
Server logs are retained for a limited period determined by our hosting configuration and provider requirements and are used primarily for security, operation and troubleshooting.
Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured for our Analytics property and Google's applicable policies.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we process personal data about you and obtain a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request deletion of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- receive certain personal data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law.
How to exercise your rights
To exercise a privacy right or ask us a privacy question, contact admin@umova.tech.
We may need to request information necessary to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Where the GDPR applies, we will normally respond without undue delay and within one month, subject to any extension permitted by law.
If you believe that your personal data has been handled unlawfully, you may also have the right to complain to the data protection or supervisory authority responsible for your jurisdiction.
United States residents
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws.
Depending on the law that applies, these may include rights to access, correct or delete personal information and obtain information about how it is used or disclosed.
UMOVA does not sell personal information collected through this website and does not use website visitor information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
You can contact admin@umova.tech to exercise any privacy rights applicable to you.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data.
The website is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry correspondence and administrative systems is limited to people who need access for legitimate business purposes.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if our website, service providers or legal obligations change.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we process personal data that you have already provided, we will take additional steps to notify you where required by applicable law.
